Reale CM from zanotta

The Reale table from Zanotta was designed by Carlo Mollino in 1946. At the time, Mollino only produced small quantities of the design and used a process he had developed himself to cold-mould the plywood. An original from the beginning of the 20th century achieved an immense price at a design auction. Reale was the first piece of furniture from the 20th century for which over a million dollars was paid. Zanotta produces today's Reale based on the original designs by Mollino. 

An elegant crystal top (extra-clear 15mm or smoke-coloured 12mm thick) with bevelled edges rests on the highly unusual braced frame made of solid oak or walnut. Reale is available in various sizes, the frame is optionally made of solid natural-coloured, orange or black-stained oak or solid Canaletto walnut. The varnish has a wax finish.
