Light and understated in appearance, with a leg structure reminiscent of a camping chair and a soft, cradle-like seat cushion stitched in a checkered pattern. When the first version of the k chair was launched in 2004, a classic was born instantly.

“When you design a piece of furniture, it’s impossible to predict which ones will stand the test of time,” says designer Harri Koskinen now, 20 years later. The k chair did. You could say it happened by chance, but perhaps that’s not entirely the case.

To celebrate its anniversary, the k lounge chair is getting three new color options. The colors inspired by the urban environment of Helsinki: Concrete, Brick and Park.

The Swivel K Chair is a swivelling, super comfortable armchair with return mechanism and rocking mechanism. Removable cover made of easy-care fabric.
