Vipp 581 Paper from Vipp

The Vipp Paper floor lamp is suitable for the living room or bedroom. This floor lamp features a textured paper lampshade and an interior metal grid. The lampshade rests on a tripod base of dark brown powder-coated aluminium. The paper is connected to a fitted top ring of dark oak and offers a warm diffusion of light.

Ancient paper craft methods have been used in the creation of each sheet of paper used for the Vipp Paper lamp. Derived from Japanese tradition, the handheld process adds a poetic dimension as each lampshade holds its own unique story and distinctive texture.

The textured surface of the paper lampshade adds a pleasant light diffusion, ideal to illuminate smaller areas in a large space. A dimmer is available to adjust the brightness of the concealed light bulb.

The lampshade is carried by a slender tripod of conical, powder-coated aluminum legs, adding solidity to the lightness of the paper lampshade. A power cord internally routes through the three-legged lamp stand, for a clean and refined expression.

Inspired by Japanese paper lantern traditions, the Vipp Paper floor lamp fuses Asian design craft with a cosy, subdued lighting recognised in the Scandinavian decor.
