Vipp 496 Cabin Square Table from Vipp
The square Cabin table for eight people is available with three different table tops: Jura Grey Blue, Pietra Grey marble and a limestone version from Burgundy, France.
The visual expression of marble and limestone tells the story of millions of years of natural processing. Both stone types have imprints of fossils and other organic matter that make each stone unique with a wide range of shades and veins. With its dark gray background, Pietra gray marble features bold, contrasting white and black veins. These veins run through the surface of the stone in intricate patterns, creating a sophisticated contrast to the gray background. The veins can vary in thickness, from fine and delicate lines to wider, more pronounced stripes. Occasionally, yellow stripes or red burns can also be seen in the veins. Jura, on the other hand, is a dense, fine-grained limestone that is rich in minerals. Grey Blue Jura is characterized by a rustic appearance that ranges from warm, golden to cold, grey tones. Glass veins can appear as cracks, but are a natural feature of the stone.
The heavy table tops are supported by two parallel legs made of solid oak with vertical grooves. They provide additional texture and stability.
The solid stone top has a silky, soft feel created by the soft brushing technique, which protects the natural structure of the stone.
At Vipp, limestone and marble are a recurring material for all furniture designs.
Marble is a natural material and each piece of marble is unique. Please note that the visual appearance of marble can vary. Remove stains immediately using a lint-free cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid the use of dust sprays or abrasive cleaners. For severe damage, contact a professional polisher. Gentle, regular cleaning is recommended. Dust the surface regularly and wipe the marble with a damp cloth if necessary. If necessary, add a mild, acid-free cleaning agent. Remove the cleaning agent with a clean, damp cloth. Marble is a limestone and does not tolerate acids (juice, wine, ketchup, etc.)
Marble is delicate and should be handled with care. Always use coasters for drinking glasses and hot objects to keep your table beautiful and free from stains. The surface is polished (matt) and sealed with a natural impregnation that slightly enhances the color while still leaving a matt, protected surface. The table base is made of natural, solid oak wood, which can vary in color and grain, making each base unique. The oak is lacquered in light or dark stained oak for a durable, protected finish.
