Vipp 488 Cabin Lounge Chair from Vipp
The Vipp Cabin Lounge chair is suited for the living room or lounge area. The lounge chair has a solid oak frame, which is softened by the addition of a padded aniline leather cushion and a backrest made of hand-braided paper cord.
It is Vipp’s take on a lounge chair; elements such as the wooden frame and the hand-braided paper cord back are recognizable from Danish design history. With emphasis and focus on the craftmanship known from other Danish design classics, the Cabin Lounge Chair provides a modern, yet classic take.
The dark oak frame (stained and oiled) is complemented by a pressed veneer seat upholstered in leather and a backrest in black paper cord weave.
Vipp
The very first Vipp bin was made in 1939 as a labour of love. Today, Vipp has developed into an entire family of products. The original bin has now been supplemented by a range of products ideal for bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and office spaces as well.
