The Vipp 430 desk has a high-gloss polished aluminium frame and is available with a choice of two different table tops which, despite their stability, have a floating appearance. One, which ages gracefully, is made of fine Italian leather in Bosco green and is set in fine walnut wood. The other is made of grey Ocean marble, which lends the secretary a sophisticated play of colours with its characteristic white veins and natural beauty marks such as fossils. The top in dolomite stone, a more resistant material than traditional marble, is ideal for a desk that can withstand daily use with ease.
Marble stone is a natural material and each marble plate is inimitable. Varied visual expressions of the marble are to be expected. Aniline leather is celebrated for its natural softness, rich texture, and authentic character. Unlike treated leathers, it showcases natural beauty marks like scars, wrinkles, and color variations — features that highlight its organic origin and craftsmanship. These "perfect imperfections" are what make each piece unique.
Perfectly paired with the Vipp Swivel chair, the desk features a polished aluminium frame and joints that mirror those found on the chair, creating a cohesive look when the chair slides under the table.
