B42 from tecta
A classic is back! The Weißenhof chair (also known as MR 10 or MR 20) is an design by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from the year 1927. It was the first springy cantilever of its kind. The nickname Weißenhof chair receives the under the name B42 reissued chair classic by the same named exhibition on which the original was presented the first time in 1927 to a broad audience.
The B42 cantilever with its nickel-plated steel tube frame is so elegant, unique and comfortable as the original itself. The convenient seat can be ordered in natural cane (doubled) or in special Tecta wicker, which is handmade as well.
tecta
Tecta is a furniture company based in German Lower Saxony. With the protection and innovative continuation of original Bauhaus models they selected a very prominent field of activity and a very fastidious one. Released by the avant-garde of the 1920s as an risky venture in small-scale production, Tecta managed it exclusively to produce in larger scales today. This has been authorized officially by the Bauhaus archive in Berlin. So Tecta belongs to the leading names when it comes to Bauhaus furniture.
