LUM from tecnolumen

The LUM luminaire continues the Bauhaus idea of reduction to the essential with a maximum of functionality and aesthetics. Using the classic and famous 20mm tubular steel, the renowned designer Ulf Möller developed LUM, a luminaire that can not only be seen as a complement to the well-known tubular steel furniture, but also integrates itself unobtrusively but pointedly into an appealing room ambience with its timeless design.

The use of state-of-the-art LED technology guarantees not only bright and brilliant colour rendition, but also a glare-free and warm lighting atmosphere. An automatic touch control on the head of the luminaire offers the possibility to switch the light on and off and to dim it according to the requirements. In addition, turning the horizontal light heads allows the direction of radiation to be changed continuously by up to 340°. This allows very individual lighting situations to be created. The high efficiency of the light output supports the very low power consumption. The luminaires can be used in both living room and office situations.

The luminaires are manufactured by the companies THONET and TECNOLUMEN, which have formed a cooperation for this purpose and offer the luminaires to design and technology-oriented customers under the label "THONET by TECNOLUMEN".
