Octo 4241 from Secto Design

Secto Design is proud to introduce the new Octo Small 4241 pendant, a smaller version of the famous Octo 4240. This version fits surprisingly well in small and larges spaces because of its lightness. Handmade of PEFC-certified formpressed birch in Finland by highly skilled craftsmen. The white, walnut and birch coloured versions have also white textile cables and ceiling cups. The black version has black coloured cable and ceiling cups.

The acclaimed Secto Design lamps were born of a genuine need, the innovative use of wood material and skilled craftsmanship. Secto Design lamps attract not only friends of design, but imitators as well. The beautiful shade forms have been copied in lamps cheaply made of other materials. Nonetheless, Secto Design persistently stands up for its lamps against increased and blatant copying, trusting that its customers appreciate the quality of original Secto Design lamps and the fine work of Finnish craftsmen.

Most Secto Design lamps use LED bulbs as a light source. The recommended color temperature is warm white, 2850 K (daylight being 4000 K). For security reasons at least 15 mm space should be left between the bulb and the shade to allow air to circulate. If a dimmer is used, please check the compatibility of the dimmer with the light source. The use of special bulbs such as halogen, mirror or 12 V is forbidden due to overheating. In Europe all the lamps are delivered with a light source: either a suitable bulb or a built-in LED. The bulb is an example of a suitable light source for the model in question. There might be variation in the bulbs due to supply. The guarantee of the lamps does not cover the example bulbs.
