HochAcht from nils holger moormann
It aims high, the HochAcht. And yet it is not a ladder, but an object to sit on. A fine frame to allow moments to settle. While your thoughts are already climbing further.
HochAcht is very stable and yet needs to be leaned on. Although it resembles a ladder, it is a seating object and therefore not intended for everyday use as a ladder. The second step is designed as a seat, the third as a backrest. The top step is extended to the rear and thus offers a storage space for books and other objects. A leather piping has been attached to the top step to protect the wall.
HochAcht was designed by Cecilie Manz for Nils Holger Moormann and was originally conceived as a coat rack. HochAcht is made from local ash and manufactured in artisan workshops in Chiemgau.
