Dune from Kvadrat
The carpet Dune is made of pure wool felt and has a pile height of 18mm. The new colours are reminiscent of walks in Skagen in the far north of Denmark with sea views, blue skies and changing dune formations. Moritz and Ridolfo were inspired by the landscapes, and indeed the structure of Dune is also reminiscent of an aerial photograph of a recently ploughed field.
Dune can also be used as a wall hanging; its striking aesthetics and the excellent sound absorption properties of pure new wool give any room a calming and calming effect.
Moritz designs are often characterised by texture, lightness and a sense of movement. He wanted to show how these properties can be translated into a carpet design. Produced in a melt-bonded production process, Dune has a strong, textured finish with a 10 cm long end loop made of felt.
A surcharge must be made for widths of less than 150 cm. The carpets are made to measure, whereby round or unusual shapes are not possible.
