The Bertoia side chair is available with a seat pad or fully upholstered, an outdoor option is available. Awards: Designer of the Year, USA 1955, Certificate of Merit, American Institute of Architects 1962, Design Center Stuttgart Award, Germany 1962.

The frame is a welded steel construction with rods in chrome or bonded Rilsan. Frame is scratch, stain and chip resistant with stainless steel connections. Seat cushions have fabric edges and secure to chair with lock-snaps. The side chair frame is available in the brown, gray and green frame in texture polyester finishing, and black and white with Rilsan finishing. Full cover upholstery is available in a variety of fabrics. Leather is not available on fully upholstered chairs. The seat pad for the side chair is available in a variety of KnollTextiles fabrics and Spinneybeck leather. Also available in our shop: wool felt seat pads by Parkhaus. This product is available with foam that meets requirements for BS5852.
