Smatrik (Outdoor) from kartell

The constant interplay of design and technological innovation has led to the creation of Smatrik, the latest interpretation of a chair, designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. It has an innovative frame that creates a three-dimensional effect, which makes it look incredibly light and elegant.

The seat shell is made of new polycarbonate 2.0, a material for which a renewable raw material from the pulp and paper industry is used in the synthesis phase. The manufacturing process of the material is ISCC* certified (*International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).

The outdoor version of the armchair Smatrik is available in different colours. The frame is made of resistant lacquered steel. 

Smatrik is available with painted or chrome-plated steel legs for indoor use, with powder-coated stainless steel base for outdoor use and with oak-stained wood skids as rocking chair.
