BC 07 Basket® (Exquisite wood / Glaze) from Janua
Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss do not overstretch the bow at all, rather they give the table a uniquely elegant shape. The boat-shaped table top - a homage to the harbour city of Hamburg - rounds off the design and concept.
All corners are rounded, including the edge of the table. It follows the shape of a pebble, also known as the "pebble edge". The BC 07 Basket® impresses with its light design and solidity of character. The boat-shaped table top allows the Basket to rest in itself - its rounded pebble edge is shaped using a specially manufactured tool.
In the version offered here, the table is available in various specially finished woods. The steel frame is painted in RAL 9005 deep black, the struts are glazed in Double Brand Colour.
