Ndebele (Red) from gandia blasco - gan
Like the paintings on the façades of Ndebele villages, traditionally made by women, this kilim combines several geometric patterns that differ in style. Sandra Figuerola thus reinterprets the motifs of the Ndebele houses by transferring them to a textile medium and using a pattern and colour palette that is more in keeping with modern lifestyles. The Red model combines shades of garnet, orange, purple, green and ecru. The series also includes a green version that incorporates green, blue, grey and black tones. Both rugs are available in two sizes.

Both the textile line, which is being commercialised since 2008 with the brand name GAN, and the outdoor furniture collections, are signed by prestigious professional designers, such as Jean Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola, Sandra Figuerola, ododesign and others. Under the label Gan are offered especially carpets in modern and fresh designs. For example the carpets Ringo, Grafito and Flower. The Gan Rugs are exclusively made by hand - so each Gan rug is a unique piece.
