One of the peculiarities of this casual seat is that its filling is not compact, which makes it especially comfortable and adaptable to the body’s shape. Its delightful weave of hypnotic black and white rhombuses is made by Indian artisans using the Dhurrie technique with 100% virgin wool and manual looms. Sail is a contemporary revision of the traditional Dhurrie aesthetics.
It is built with only two pieces of fabric, cut in a triangular shape. Precisely that is where the whole collection takes its name from, because of its resemblance to the shape of a sailing sail. Designed by Héctor Serrano, the Sail series also includes rugs, square poufs and cushions.

Both the textile line, which is being commercialised since 2008 with the brand name GAN, and the outdoor furniture collections, are signed by prestigious professional designers, such as Jean Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola, Sandra Figuerola, ododesign and others. Under the label Gan are offered especially carpets in modern and fresh designs. For example the carpets Ringo, Grafito and Flower. The Gan Rugs are exclusively made by hand - so each Gan rug is a unique piece.
