The Pelagus series is inspired by the Stockholm archipelago - home to Note Design Studio, the architects and designers behind the design. Note Design Studio is a multi-disciplinary studio that takes a holistic approach to product design, always imagining the furniture in its architectural and spatial context.

When the designers and architects of Note Design Studio sought inspiration for the Pelagus series, they looked to the nautical-inspired culture of Stockholm to set the mood. Laidback, spontaneous, flexible. Evoking the archipelago of their home, the name Pelagus is also a nod to the deep blue sea of the word's ancient Greek origins. It is furniture that suits a lifestyle as diverse as that lived on the Stockholm archipelago, urban and cosmopolitan or far from the city and grounded in nature.

Pelagus is the most extensive series in the Skagerak Collection of outdoor furniture. At its heart is materiality; Pelagus is a restrained combination of solid teak, powder-coated aluminium, and the contemporary Sling fabric. It is high on comfort and versatility with a graceful contemporary expression.

Designed in collaboration with Stockholm-based Note Design Studio. The Pelagus High Table (95 cm height) features a round, centre-based design with a solid teak tabletop (Ø62.5cm) and a powder-coated aluminium frame, available in Light Ivory and Hunter Green. Designed to pair perfectly with the Pelagus Counter Stool, it is fitted with a dual hook/linking device beneath the tabletop for easy linking with other tables or holding a small bag—combining functionality with minimalist style.
