Rubie (wood base) from freifrau

The inspiration for Rubie, a design by Hauke Murken and Sven Hansen, was a quilted blanket casually thrown over a wooden chair. The resulting chair is simple and light, but also elegant due to the voluminous quilting. This interplay between frugality and opulence makes Rubi the ideal seat for a variety of everyday situations, from morning coffee through to a big celebratory dinner.

The dining armchair Rubie is available in uni colour - either in fabric or leather - and two-tone in a fabric / leather combination.

In the here offered model the comfortable seat of the dining armchair Rubie is resting on a solid wood base, which is available in oak nature or white pigmented, for an extra charge also black or grey stained or in walnut wood. The chair is also available with a filigree metal frame.
