Re-Trouvé 569 from Emu
A collection of metal furnishings that takes a classic design and reinterprets it with extreme irony. Curled up iron rod which used to enrich and adorn handcrafted armchairs in bygone days are now made with an industrial process which produces furnishing distinguished by complex patterns with a row of diamond shapes, thanks to EMU’s advanced technology in working metal. The geometry of the design gives a three-dimensional look to the objects whose curvilinear profile outlines sweet and sensual furnishings characterised by the elegance of former times. Chair, armchair and pouffe are made of hot-dipped pre-galvanised rod, while the seat is in steel tube and ironed sheet metal. Re-Trouvé comes in black or white. To prove the flexibility of the industrial process utilised to realise furnishings in the Re-Trouvé family, the starting element of the armchair becomes the structure of the table and the big vase, while the starting element of the chair becomes the structure of the table and the small vase. The tables have solid sheet metal top while the vases are completed by a vase in Deruta enamelled terracotta.
