Steffen Kehrle

Once the professional field of design has been discovered, the fascination is great - and the future path is clear. Steffen Kehrle studied industrial design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna from 2001 to 2007 under Paolo Piva, Borek Šípek, Ross Lovegrove and Hartmut Esslinger. Thinking outside the box and without shyness, wide awake and inquisitive, the perfectionist completes his studies. He took the opportunity to see different positions through his teachers - in order to ultimately find his own position. Since founding his own ‘Atelier Steffen Kehrle’ in 2009, he and his team have been designing minimalist, functional and versatile products, exhibitions and interiors - across all design disciplines. A lecturer and visiting professor since 2009, Steffen Kehrle has been a professor of object and furniture design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences since 2023.
