Using creativity in many ways - that is Bao-Nghi Droste's guiding principle. After an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he studied industrial design at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. During his studies, the Stuttgart-born designer gained professional experience with Werner Aisslinger in Berlin and Hannes Wettstein in Zurich. After graduating, Bao-Nghi Droste moved to Heidelberg, where he founded his own design studio in 2007. Since then, the designer has worked in the fields of interior, product and furniture design as well as a consultant. His style is characterised by clear lines and geometric shapes. For Schönbuch, Bao-Nghi Droste created the wall mirror GEO as well as the purist lowboards and sideboards KAIDAN.
