DS-2100/156 from de sede
Be it in James Bond films or in “Men in Black:” this luxurious desk chair is an eye-catcher on every film set. Although already launched in 2001, to this day the sculpture continues to have an utterly new and futuristic effect.
Derived from the human spine, in lieu of a classic seat shell, the creative minds at de Sede developed a structure of pliable slats, analogous to the human ribs.
The concept was also pursued further in the case of the seat shell that accommodates a person’s derrière. This sophisticated architecture ensures that the body is both supported and noticeably relieved whenever seated. Incidentally, everyone agreed on its nickname at once: “Skeleton” because DS-2100 looks like a chair-shaped skeleton wrapped in soft cushioning and leather.
The slats on DS-2100 in finest leather adapt to individual body contours and provide – with its embracing feeling – the highest level of comfort.
Available as a low-backed, visitor swivel chair, a highbacked executive chair, with headrest, tilt mechanism, height adjustment and casters, and as a visitor chair with a four-star base.
