Mex Cube from Cassina
A wide range of variations allows many combinations for different uses. This upholstered furniture series, with its simple, soft cushions that yet offer enough support, is immediately recognized as comfortable. Seating system with elements with one (right or left) armrest or no armrests. A long chair that can be conbined with other elements is available, as well as a recliner that stands alone. The upholstery is supported by a visible frame in dark.tone oak or in glossy painted white or gray wood. The small side units complete the series and can be placed next to chairs or sofas or used as storage or surfaces for personal items. Upholstered "islands" are thus created with surfaces and functional containers that can be used from three sides. >The covers are completely removable. The internal frame is in steel and in differentiated-density CFC-free polyurethane foam. Upholstery in feather or polyester wadding. The pillows are filled with feathers. The invisible feet are adjustable.

Founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda in 1927, the company launched industrial design in Italy during the 50’s by taking a completely new approach which saw a shift from handcraftsmanship to serial production.
