Dodo from Cassina
Swivel armchair on fixed base which can become a chaise-longue with different tilting positions. The back and footrest are movable; the different positions can be adjusted either through the use of a small lever operating a gas spring or a handle on one side. By a single, simple movement the back returns to the upright position. Small lever, handle and base in nickel-plated steel. Steel frame, padding in CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Fixed fabric or leather upholstery. Removable covers in special fabrics are available for head and footrest.

Founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda in 1927, the company launched industrial design in Italy during the 50’s by taking a completely new approach which saw a shift from handcraftsmanship to serial production.
