7 Fauteuil Tournant Outdoor from Cassina Outdoor
An icon with an aptitude for versatility and functionality designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris atelier in Place Saint-Sulpice. The design was first exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs [Decorative Artists Show] in 1928 and then at the Salon d'Automne [Autumn Salon] in 1929, and is now part of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection.
The swivel armchair 7 Fauteuil Tournant (formerly LC7) features backrest and seat cushion padded in polyurethane foam and polyester batting, with fabric upholstery.
The LC7 outdoor version is made of stainless steel with special textured powder-coat finish specifically for outdoor use, in five colours, and outdoor polyester fabric upholstery that echoes the same aesthetics as the indoor models. Since 2016, the armchair has undergone a major structural update that led to its being awarded Catas certifications.
