Materials

Cane-line natté: Cane-line Natté is a unique material produced by Sunbrella for Cane-line. Cane-line Natté combines the strength of normal all weather fabrics with the comfortable softness of the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, resulting in a soft yet durable fabric. Because the product is used outdoors over extended periods of time, regular cleaning with a soft brush and soapy water is important. This ensures the removal of superficial dirt and debris, such as leaves, berries, pollen and bird droppings, before they have a chance to build up and become more difficult to remove. The QuickDryFoam® ensures that within one hour after a rain shower, the cushions will be dry, and you can sit comfortably in your lounge furniture again.

Cane-line QuickDryFoam® & Airflow system: We offer Cane-line QuickDry & Airflow system in our cushions with the unique QuickDryFoam®. The composition of the cushions ensures a quick drainage after heavy rain and an effective air circulation in humid weather conditions. This means that you can easily leave your outdoor furniture and cushions outside even in poor weather conditions.

It is important to always place your cushions in an upright position when not in use. This ensures optimum drainage, thereby minimising the risk of mould and mildew. The anti-bacterial protection in the cushion core is most effective with correct drainage of the cushion.

Cane-line Soft Rope: Cane-line Rope is produced by woven polypropylene (PP). The material has a soft surface that provides good support and excellent sitting comfort. Do not pull hard on the material as it can be stretched out of shape. Cane-line Rope is ideal for outdoor use and is UV-resistant.

Cane-line Teak: Cane-line teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indoneasia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. This is a guarantee that the teak production supports responsible forest management. Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak furniture is delivered untreated. If the furniture remains untreated, the teakwood will patina over time and turn pale grey colour. If you wish to retain the original golden colour, we recommend treating teak furniture with a recommended teak sealant. How often treatment is needed depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed in a sheltered position, for example under a roof. As a general rule, teak table tops should be cleaned and treated at least a couple of times a year. If your teak furniture becomes silvery-grey or black on the surface, it can be cleaned with a recommended teak cleaner.
